Thank you to the You tube community for making this channel - what I would call a success in terms of the positive comments. Many thanks to jsnple a leading tennis channel, to Seanxin another great archivist and to the support of loveeddiemurphy. They have all given great feedback and comments.But thank you also to all the others who have given constructive comments also. Once again sorry about the lack of clarity in labeling videos, but I think the priority is to simply get it out there into the public domain. But where necessary will update file names Hope everybody continues to enjoy the tennis supplied much of it by BBC, Eurosport and Sky Sports channels and of course courtesy of the goodwill of the tournament organisers particularly the Grand Slams.

Michael Barrett was so biased against Courier. Always going against him because of his style of play. I always thought Courier’s style was awesome to watch. His forehands looked like uppercuts.
El error de Rios en Roland Garros siempre fue jugar Saint Polten la semana previa como "preparación". El problema es que lo ganó 4 veces y después llegaba cansado a Roland Garros y en este partido se le nota. El equipo técnico del Chino siempre fue muy malo, salvo por el tiempo que estuvo con Larry Stefansky (cuando alcanzó el N°1). Pero para este torneo, ya estaba con el tarado de Luis Lobo y el PF seguía siendo el burro de Astorga el cual le terminó reventando la espalda. En fin, el Chino un gran talento desperdiciado por lesiones y malas decisiones, en parte por su personalidad y en parte por la gente que lo rodeaba.

Always worth remembering that the light helped save henman when his back and nerves were not there (wide open event with Pete gone). So the rain was kind of the odds evening.

Krajicek's game is great to watch, when he is healthy. Korda plays with much flare. Sampras game is lethal and efficient. They are my favorite players with one-handed backhand.

Sampras was a good player that depended heavily on his serve. This is why he could never win RG
Good player? Lol he was a goat, unplayable attacking force, goat serve and touch, supreme athlete, and a devastating FH. He could not win RG because the field was so much deeper, and there were court specialist on every surface; career GS were much more difficult compared to the joke of surfaces we have now . Also on clay he still won Rome (M1000 in 5 sets) and DCup (also five sets).
lol back… a goat perhaps during his tenure. He was just 29 when he lost against a 19 years old Federer. He was the reigning Wimbledon champion and he was on a 25 match winning streak. So, he was not tumbling down exactly. But aces alone don’t make an all time goat.
